Ready for our biggest event yet?
With the release of our official website, we have exciting news! If you haven't seen on our various social media sites, we have secured a venue for our 2024 Howl-O-Ween event! We are heading to the National Western Center's Stockyards Event Center in Denver, CO!
What is Howl-O-Ween?
In the past, Howl-O-Ween has been passed around along the community at various event centers. In 2021, Howl-O-Ween was hosted at The Roxy Theater in Denver, CO. Foxtrot has grown so much, we had a record-breaking 325 people attend, exceeding the theater's capacity. We have been on the hunt for a new venue to host this big one-off event at and we finally have a venue picked out!
National Western Center Stockyard Events Center Information
The NWC has graciously reached out to us to host our event, and we are more than excited to throw our big holiday party here in 2024! The Stockyard Event Center (SYEC) has over 20,000 sq. ft. of event space lined up for us in their Show Arena. It is located just off of I70 & Washington on the North end of Denver. Here's some logistical information for you all:
- 20,000 sq ft. of event space
- Dedicated outdoor space (paved concrete)
- Parking on-site and monitored
What to expect
We have a vision with this next Howl-O-Ween event. We ran into multiple logistical issues throughout the planning process, and the biggest one is that our event has grown so much, we need a massive dedicated space to host everyone effectively. We took time to reflect upon what makes Foxtrot so good. We determined that we needed a blend of social space and music/dance space for everyone. The Roxy Theater was simply too small to host everyone in the same space, and get that special blend of dancing and socialization. After months of negotiating, discussion, and multiple site visits, the NWC SYEC will be the home for Foxtrot Howl-O-Ween 2024!
With this bigger venue space, we have big goals and big dreams. Here's a list of what our wishlist is. We cannot guarantee everything on this list, but this is what's been on our minds as we plan this event out.
- Dedicated stage/dance floor space in the main arena
- Booths for artists, vendors, and groups to come and collaborate and show off their stuff (maybe even sell some things if they want)
- Multiple spaces for people to lounge at inside the venue space (both inside and outside of the Arena)
- Dedicated bar area that also has a dedicated patio with tables and chairs
- Outdoor space with multiple food trucks to pick from, picnic tables, and chairs for folks to escape the loud music and socialize in (NOTE: weather permitting)

We will be posting frequent announcements as things progress. We have a lot to plan for, as we have never planned anything so big previously. We are essentially having to coordinate every single thing to make this event happen.
We are almost ready to open up tickets and start going nuts about hyping the event! Please keep your eyes peeled over the next few days!
